Calendar of bans for heavy goods vehicles for 2024.

To make it easier for drivers of heavy motor vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of over 7.5t to navigate the summer bans and the bans during public holidays, we have created a table for the year 2024.

PROHIBITIONS DUE TO PUBLIC HOLIDAYS AND HOLIDAYS

Excerpt from the Order on Road Traffic Restrictions (Official Gazette 64/2009). 

Summer bans start on June 15 and last until September 15.

They are valid on Saturdays from 4 am to 2 pm and on Sundays from 12 pm to 11 pm.
Weekends with summer bans are marked in yellow.

The ban on motor vehicles with a maximum permissible weight of over 7.5 tons applies to the following state roads:

1. DC8 – Jadranska magistrala on the section: intersection with DC40 junction Bakar – Zadar – Split – GP Klek – GP Zaton Doli – Dubrovnik – GP Karasovići (except over the section from the Šibenik bridge to the eastern entrance to Šibenik, and from the Bilica rotor in Solin to the intersection for turning towards the Trade and Transport Terminal in Strobreč.
2. DC9 on the section: Metković – Opuzen – DC8
3. DC21 on the section: GP Kaštel (border of R Slovenia) – Buje – junction Kanfanar, except for the section of state road DC21 from junction Kanfanar – to Pula (junction with DC66),
4. DC23 on the section: Žuta Lokva – Senj,
5. DC39, the junction of the A1 highway from the Šestanovac roundabout to the intersection with the state road DC8 (Dupci),
6. DC66 from junction Pula (A9) – Raša – Opatija – DC8,
7. DC200 on the section: Buje (DC21) – GP Plovanija (border of R Slovenia),
8. DC300 Buje (DC21) – Umag,
9. ŽC5002 on the section: Novigrad – Tar – Poreč – Vrsar (connection with DC21),
10.on the approach and surfaces of the state ferry port Split,
11.on the approach and surfaces of the Zadar state ferry port.
